As a young boy I had delayed speech, and had to work hard and learn to persevere to keep up in grade school. The early lesson taught me that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. I didn't want to fail.
As a far back as I can remember I had a passion for taking on challenging things. When I entered I high School I had aspiration of working in the health field, helping people of all walks of life improve their quality of life through healthy living and fitness.
I was fortunate to find my athletic talent in distance running during my high school sophomore year. Unfortunately, my school did not have a full-time distance coach and most of what I learned was through research, trial and error. By my senior year my relentless work ethic and positive personality lead me to have great success in track and cross country running.
I won the city championship in three different events, and was a top California state finalist in the 1600 meter, 3200 meter, and 5k XC. I then qualified for the National Foot Locker Championship and finished 20th in the nation, earning All-American HS honors. It also earned me a full Athletic Scholarship to the NCAA division-1 University of Wake Forest.
Being a student athlete in college humbled me. After a year of adjustment, my sophomore year I had some outstanding performances, competing against and taking to task some future Olympians. That year resulted in earning All-ACC honors.
More importantly, in college I learned much about the importance of accepting failure as part of growth, and the importance mental well being. I struggled with failure, over training, and healthy eating habits causing me to under achieve many of my athletic goals. All valuable lessons.
I am currently in the process of completing my Masters in Kinesiology at Saint Mary's College in California. I will continue my education by entering a Doctorate in Physical Therapy program. My parents were once told that college would be a real long shot because of the early delayed speech. Like I said before, if you want it bad enough anything is possible.

With all the research and countless hours I have put into learning about failures, success, and positive energy; I hope to help you find your way to your goals. Whether that be improving your health and becoming more active as a person, or even archiving higher level in some type of athletic competition. I want to pass along what I have learned about fitness and mindset. I can guide to a better you whatever your goal maybe. I have worked with teen athletes all the way to people in their 50's.

I am tooling up to get even better at what I can do for you.
